Melissa Relvas holds a B.S. in Medical Technology from Missouri State University and is a Certified Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists. With 22 years of experience in microbiology, she is dedicated to ensuring food safety and quality.

Certified by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance and trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Melissa specializes in developing comprehensive food safety plans, conducting shelf-life studies, and creating individualized challenge studies for a wide range of food products.
